Resemblance? Could Be ;)

Do you think there's a resemblance? ☺

Year in Review - Part 2

Wahoo! I got my Year in Review done! Yes, they're simple - but they're done! ;) I just need to fill in the calendars, but that's just a matter of copying from our crazy family calendar, minus the arrows, scratch-outs, different colors, horrible handwriting, etc... LOL!

Again, this is almost all Basic Grey. There are some American Craft Thickers, Prima bling, Scenic Route chipboard, and a couple of other various things, but probably 90 percent Basic Grey.

Also, sorry for the dark pictures. It's later here and getting dark, but I didn't know when I'd get another chance to take some pictures.

You can probably see the paper is warped on the December calendar. I sprayed it all over with Shimmerz spray and it's not the thick cardstock, just regular and boy did it curl! LOL! Oh well, it's really nice and sparkly (although you can't tell from the picture) and it should flatten out in the album! ;)

As always, thanks for looking! ☺

Year in Review - Part 1

Each year I do a Year in Review scrapbook for our family. Usually it takes me a while to get to it. I think that because I'm getting ready to go back to school though I've been on a scrapbooking frenzy - trying to get as much done as I can while I have the time to do it.

Last year a friend bought me the Basic Grey 2009 calendar. I love Basic Grey, but I don't like 8x8 albums or spirals. But I was able to make it work by taking it apart and using some of the elements that came with it. I've totally strayed from the suggestions given though. ;) I've been keeping the pages simple and quick and some of them I'm happy with the way they turned out and some of them I'm ehhhh... But that's okay! ;)

(Caution for Mrs. Wookie: Basic Grey running amok below! ;))

I've used mainly Basic Grey items with some American Craft Thickers, Close to My Heart stamps and Making Memories butterflies and buttons thrown in.

Thanks for looking! ☺
