This card is my entry to the Basic Grey Challenge. It totally strayed from my original idea, but I love how it turned out. It was also one of the easiest cards I've ever made.
I used the rectangles and dotted paper (from Indian Summer)to mimic the couch in the photo. I also used colors similar to the picture. To add a little bling to the stickers and rub-ons I used a Sakura glitter pen to highlight some of the swirls. The cream cardstock and ribbon are from Close to My Heart. Everything else is from Basic Grey.
And here is layout I did of Jesse (poor guy - he's getting all of the "please don't scrap" pictures lately! LOL!). I have to admit to loving the picture of Jesse with my sister. It totally cracks me up. He was so tired but he wanted to go trick or treating and was just really, really grumpy (this was last year when Halloween was on Friday and so he had had a full day of school). My sister was trying to make him laugh, didn't work, but it made me laugh. ☺
Used lots of my stash here, older Junkitz papers, lots of Thickers and Basic Grey stickers. I ran out of some of the Thickers and had to butcher a couple of letters to try to make them work. I also added some black stickles on the circle I cut from patterned paper for a cheap & easy embellishment! ☺
Thanks for looking! ☺
